Will the party with a platform please stand up! After watching an hour or so of the convention last night I tired of hearing the gaffs, retorts, jabs and derogotory coments flung at thier opponents. Is this the only way that the political parties can come up with to persuade the public to vote for them? I hope not! I for one would like to hear somthing substantive upon whitch to base my decisions.
Will the parties in question please make your intentions known. For as long as I have been following the presidential elections after the conventions the individual parties release thier intentions to the public. Ladies and gentalmen please do so soon so that the voters can make an informed decision.
ThankYou

Having a hard time
Having a hard time evaluating the bill. At this time the financial reform bill is the topic of countless people's discussions, and the bill has yet to totally pass the Senate. Cloture wasn't in a position to go through the Senate either. The length of time the Senate has to come to some type of an agreement is effected by cloture. Most commonly it is introduced to stop the Senate from taking quite a bit of time to come to some kind of a general opinion on something, and also to prevent ineffective reasoning back and forth that won't get anyone anywhere. For cloture to be implemented there has to be two thirds of the Senate in complete agreement for it, and that didn't occur. The Senate isn't expected to arrive at a consensus anytime shortly.
If you do not know, by now,
If you do not know, by now, what the Republicans stand for, you have not been paying attention. Anyway, you are not going to vote Republican, because you obviously hate us.
