Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor.

This is the new slogan/bumper sticker material going around the internet.

No, Obama is not Jesus Christ, and Palin is not a murderer.

The point of the "line" is well taken however and a deserved slap to Palin and all other republican attack dogs who belittled Obama for his work.

McCain, early in the primary season, before he started to gain traction, promised a new level of civility in the compaingn. As soon as he started to smell the roses (you know that the White House has a rose garden...the things with thorns) he immediatly turned negative, even ugly, and allowed the "flash in the pan" Romney, Huckebee and Guiliani to belittle Obama's community service.

Palin gladly joined in, and immediatly touted her community service as PTA pesident and a hockey mom.

The next few weeks should indeed prove to be interesting.

If Obama should win I fully

If Obama should win I fully expect that he will completely destroy what is left of the economy in this country.

We got into this mess because the LIBERALS demanded that the banks give loans to the poor and other's unable to pay back their loans so that they could own their 'own' homes. That will happen because I and other hard working Americans who have saved and worked so that we could have the "pleasure", of paying for their homes.

Thanks to Clinton, Barney Frank, Nancy Polisi, Jimmy Carter and other self proclaimed do-gooders.Along with the flood of greedy invaders from other countries [[ illegaly immigrants]], taking jobs away from needy Americans. And o f course getting in on the Democrat funded gravy train.

And the list go on. I doubt that they will ever get enough common sense to relaize that they have succeded in dstroying this country

Oh--Happy New Year

Just Thinking

Gee..I thought that change was the mantra of the McCain/Palin ticket.  Did I miss something here?  I'm sure they are piggybacking on the Obama campaign tagline because they figured out that change was what the American people want.   Is the marine saying that the GOP ticket is being negative in suggesting change?  It must be pretty plain that change is in the making if the GOP is jumping on the same bandwagon as the democrats and against their own party who has been primarily in power the last 8 years.  It's significantly negative when candidates slam their own party.

How ironic that Just

How ironic that Just Thinking's response is negative.  Nothing positive from the liberals.  Just the same old "things are bad, we need change".  Liberals have been running this campaign for decades, and, except for the anomaly of Clinton, it has not worked.

Just Thinking When a baby

Just Thinking

When a baby has a dirty diaper, change is hardly negative.  In fact, it is a blessing, even a necessity.  Living 4 more years in the same old dirty diaper is what I think is, frankly, scary.

Obama has been running a

Obama has been running a negative campaign from the beginning.  The use of the word "Change" is, in fact, negative.  His message has been, for months now, that George Bush is evil, the Bush administration is evil, and by extension, John McCain.  He says our country is evil, he equates the deployment of our military to that of the Russians.  He has said that China is a better place than his own country.  He looks out across this land and sees bitter people, clinging to their God and their guns.

His "messianic" message is, frankly, scary.  For someone to speak of himself as the one to save the earth, should frighten all of us. Such a person will have no self control, for he sees himself as infallible.
