The newest form of domestic terrorism-the republican party??

By now everybody has heard, read about, or maybe even experienced first hand, the tactics employed by the republican party and their operatives to disrupt town hall meetings at which healthcare reform is discussed.

Yes, its disruption without substance. It is not average citizens expressing their views. There is no view expressed when some load mouth just shouts down a meeting.

Now who are these disruptors? They appear to be poor, uneducated white people, (havnt seen a black or hispanic person yet) who have been wipped into a frenzy and apparently taken advantage of by republican party operatives. (The evidence is overwhelming, so please dont protest too much.)

How is this tactic of praying on the poor and uneducated different than what terrorists do? They are well known to pray on the poor, uneducated and disenfranchised to carry out their fanatical agenda.

The anology I make may be distastful but you all know it does make the point. These disruptors are more than just irritating. They do prevent a democratic discussion of one of the most important issues of this decade.

It's interesting how you

It's interesting how you reprimand the Republicans for not allowing a view to be expressed when the Democrats are not even reading the bill of their own accord. This is what's preventing "democratic discussion," not the Republicans.
And I do believe you just called me poor and uneducated for opposing the bill - which I consider rude and untrue, since I am neither. What S says is true, you are stereotyping quite blatantly. This is not a good way to convince others, I assure you.
Also, when you tell us there is a large body of evidence to support the fact that Republicans are terrorists, would you mind providing that evidence? This "large body" does nothing for anyone if it isn't understood - kind of like the healthcare bill, actually.

linomartinez I agree with

linomartinez

I agree with Jack that these people are there just to shout down the meetings, I would not call these people Terrorists because they are only performing a job for those who sent them , but I would call the senders Terrorists, linomartinez

Unbelievable.  This

Unbelievable.  This comparison isn't just "distasteful."  It's disgusting.

You assume that these people are "not average citizens," and then proceed to call them poor, uneducated, loud mouths, and finally terrorists.  Think about this, if you are wrong, and these people are average citizens, you just stereotyped healthcare dissenters as "poor, uneducated white people."  Is that how you make a point?  Stereotyping those with opposing views and then calling them dispicable names like "terrorists"?

Now, why can't they be average citizens.  Is there one shred of evidence that they are organized mobs?  Please provide proof.

The Dems assume these folks are organized mobs because these people are mad, and for good reason.  This isn't a bill protecting migrating geese from hunters in Montana.  This is their healthcare!  Healtcare might not be on the minds of every 30 year old, but for those over 50, healthcare is amongst the most important things in their life.  These folks are mad because the government tried to revamp one of the most important things in their lives without even reading the bill.  Yet the Dems just can't (or don't want to) understand why people are mad, and so they disregard the opposition by calling them mobs and in this deplorable instance, terrorists.
