If there is one phrase I'm sick of hearing the Liberal Left use it's "Moving forward". The current administration and most of Congress repeat these words over and over. It's no real surprise, however, given their number of mistakes and incompetent deeds that they want us to keep going forward and not look back.
Have you noticed that the only time they request a "look back" is when they want to blame Bush for something? Otherwise, it's let's "move forward" past our mistakes as fast as possible before anyone has the time to see what we are really doing or have done.
Let's slow them down and make them look back at their failures like was done recently concerning the attempted terror bombing over Detroit on Christmas.

The big difference is that
The big difference is that republicans spend eight years really messing up a lot of things and the current administration has been at it for just a year trying to deal with those mistakes.
There is simply no credible argument to be made that the deficit, mainly caused by an uneccessary Iraq war, and an economic meltdown, fermenting for eight years of "hands off" policies, was not inhereted by this administration.
There is nothing inconsistent with moving forward and explaining the reasons for actions by pointing to the past.
