Many people are against gay marraige and say it is wrong. These people believe that it should not be legal. However, most people base those opinions off of their religious beliefs. Therefore, if we make gay marraige illegal because the Bible says that it is wrong, this is simply unconstitutional. Separation of Church and State is a major tenet of the Constitution, so we cannot be basing laws off of religion. I am not saying that we need to force churches to wed gays, but if they want to, they should be allowed to. Unless there is another basis as to why gay marriage is wrong that does not come from religion, I believe it should be legalized.

Their is no separation of Church and State in the United States Constitution. Using this argument to push same sex marriage on We the People who have voted over and over to denounce same sex marriage is what is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
This is what it says and the Progressives are trying to rewrite it to push their agenda.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
