Senator Biden made a quick visit to Georgia, and pledged to work for an aid package worth one billion dollars. We all know that one billion will turn into ten billion once the reconstruction mismanagement starts.

Where is all this money coming from? What is the rest of the world contributing?

The british pound and the euro are at all time highs against the dollar, yet it is us that spend like drunken soldiers.

If Obama indeed picks Joe Biden as his running mate, it would be a smart but transparent choice.

The choice would be an admission that he needs something or someone to beef up his foreign policy inexperience. The choice would also quite the criticism from McCain that the Obama ticket would be the wrong choice in these increasingly turbulant times abroad.

Remember what I said just a little while ago? The Clintons ain't done yet.

Today, both campaings (I thought Hillary did not have a campaign left) anounced that they made a joint decision, not as part of any negotiation, to place her name in nomination in Denver.

Of course she did not say no. She is honored to have her name placed in nomination, only to be defeated. That is Clinton logic. Lets honor her achievements by yet another defeat.

The story is always behind the story.

Don't be mad or concerned with Mark Penn suggesting a campaign strategy to attack Obama for not being American enough, whatever that means. He was doing what he was paid to do. Win at all cost.

The real story is that Hillary (Clinton) was torn between that strategy and others, even though she choose not to side with Penn. The key is...torn.

Why was there an issue. Why did she not fire Penn on the spot. Was the self proclaimed, "I am not a racist" Bill (Clinton) not ready to abandon that strategy?

When Elliott Spitzer resigned he admitted that sex with an overpaid prostitute violated his sense for right or wrong.

When John Edwards admitted to having sex with a woman he met in a bar, while his wife was terminally ill, he said that he was disloyal to his core beliefs.

Two questions emerge.

1. What the hell are John's core beliefs and what does Elliott think is the difference between right and wrong.

I can hardly wait for the Olympics that have not even started to finish, so that we can watch PUMA disrupt the Democratic Convention in Denver, from the inside.

For those of you that have not heard about this group, it is comprised of angry "democrats" that are so upset that Hillary "stepped down" that they want to resurect her nomination at the convention or put their support behind McCain, by using such innovative techniques as pledging not to vote in November.

OK, regardless of whether you hate her, like her, or are indifferent (notice I did NOT say “don’t know her”, cuz come on, who doesn’t know her!), Paris Hilton has shot back at McCain for using her in the “Celebrity” ad. The Paris "ad" is fall-down hilarious because she is using actual sarcasm and a bit of wit to completely make fun of “the old wrinkly white-haired guy”. Methinks that Paris’s mother had a hand in this, it is just too damn clever and funny.

McCain accuses Obama of playing the Race card.

Obama claims that race has no place in the campaign.

Please, please, stop the nonesense. Where there is color, there is friction. It is a reality that only the honestly biggoted people have openly discussed and admitted.

The rest of us claim that color does not matter. It does matter to almost everyone. Maybe that is why they call it the presidential race. OK, that was stupid.

But seriously, how we ever get past this issue if we dont admitt that it exists.

So, now, Senator Obama plans to take money from those that earn it, and give it to those that don't. Do we really want a government deciding how much profit a business should earn, and confiscating the "excess" amount?

Oh wait, taking away money from those that have it, and giving it to the poor....isn't that what we have been doing since the 40's? And hasn't that been a real success.
