The US economy is unique to all others because it can be stopped and restarted seemingly easy if you look at what really going on instead of a set of numbers and then make some educated guesses.in layman terms..this is it.during the clinton administration microsoft drove the economy.remember when all those countries and netscape tried to destroy microsoft thats because these countries realise that all their mony was going to american software and America was getting richer and richer hence the lawsuits,well they almost won because everyone was wanting microsoft head yes even some of our own.I

If there is one phrase I'm sick of hearing the Liberal Left use it's "Moving forward".  The current administration and most of Congress repeat these words over and over.  It's no real surprise, however, given their number of mistakes and incompetent deeds that they want us to keep going forward and not look back.

President Obama is being criticized for not taking a stronger stance on the Iran election.

I think he is right in his measured remarks because there is simply not anything we can do. The world needs to let the Iranian people stand up for their own rights. If we or anyone interferes we may actually indirectly help the government claim that it is not the Iranian people who are standing up for their rights but foreign forces tryin to meddle.

It sounds almost cruel, but the reality is that change sometimes comes with bloodshed and violence.

There is hope for democracy in Iran.

Not because of elections. Not because of people having the nerve to protest the elections results. Not because the international community is pressing for free and fair elections.

The real influence...Twitter and other social media. They are allowing the world to see what is actually happening in Iran and sustains the ever growing protests against what appears to be a stolen election.

Who says that Web2.0 does not equal democracy. It is the future of democracy, in suppresed countries and everywhere else for that matter.

A 100 day test may be a tradition, but since people actually watch and pay attention to what the media does, is dangerous.

What is the point in trying to determine whether a mere human being can do anything in 100 days? You do know that we now live in a global economy? You do know that we have more complex issues than anyone can handle over a span of several decades, let alone years?

This 100 review is a tradition whose' day has come. How about a quaterly review? How about a mid term review?

Regardless of your point of view, the answer is a resounding YES.

Actually, Rush says the things all republicans have wanted to say for a long time. They are not the party of inclusion, or compassion, or of rational reason, or tolerance.

They are the party of the wealthy. They are the party of the poor who have nothing to cling to other than guns and religion and dont realize how they are taken advantage of by the rich.

They are the party that drapes itself with the american flag which is the modern day version of the white sheets of the KKK.

A Christmas Wish

While many Americans now don’t have jobs, can’t pay their bills, heat their homes, buy gifts for their kids and food to eat, I want to wish the law makers a very Merry Christmas.
